About us
Practical experience – not from a catalog
SA Baustoffe stands behind Over 20 years of experience in the distribution of sealing systems, including:
Bituminous waterproofing
Liquid waterproofing membranes based on bitumen, acrylic and polyurethane
Renovation and new construction of flat roofs, terraces and detail connections
This long-standing experience has shown that many problems in processing not through the sealing material itself, but through unsuitable or impractical reinforcement materials arise.
Why these specific roll widths?
Our selection of roll widths (15 / 25 / 35 / 50 cm) is not based on theoretical assumptions, but on years of practical observation on the construction site.
Narrow rollers (15–35 cm)
When working on roofs – often in windy conditions and in confined spaces – it is impractical to cut wide geotextile sheets into narrow strips on the construction site.
This costs time, materials, and nerves.
Pre-cut roll widths make possible:
Clean work on inside and outside corners
Secure reinforcement of parapets, penetrations, drains and connections
Controlled processing without unnecessary waste
Wide roll (50 cm)
For the full-surface reinforcement A width of 50 cm has proven optimal for roof surfaces.
Wider sheets (e.g. 1 m) are significantly more difficult to handle with liquid waterproofing:
higher susceptibility to wind
more difficult embedding in fresh sealant
increased risk of air inclusions
The 50cm width offers the best compromise between efficiency and control.
Why polyester geotextile – and why 110 g/m² & 120 g/m²?
We deliberately focus on Polyester geotextile, since compared to polypropylene:
It absorbs liquid sealants significantly better.
faster and more evenly saturated
a homogeneous, low-stress sealing layer is made possible
It is not without reason that absorbent technical nonwovens are also made of polyester – albeit with different properties.
Certified quality according to DIN EN ISO 10319
Both the Polyester geotextile 110 g/m² as well as the Polyester geotextile 120 g/m² became tested according to DIN EN ISO 10319.
This standard confirms the mechanical properties and tensile strength of the material and ensures that it meets the requirements in the construction and sealing sector.
SA Baustoffe thus combines proven processing with objectively tested material quality.
110 g/m² – the proven standard
The basis weight of 110 g/m² In Germany, it is considered a proven standard for many liquid waterproofing systems and is frequently found in ETA and system approvals.
It is ideally suited for:
Standard seals
Renovations
Detail and connection areas
120 g/m² – for increased requirements
For areas that are particularly stressed or difficult to access, we offer Polyester geotextile 120 g/m² to.
This material will also be sewn with polyester threads, was:
the tear resistance is increased
the fleece is micro-perforated
further improved the impregnation with liquid sealants
The result is a extra robust reinforcement fleece for demanding applications.
Sold by the meter – only as much as needed
Not every project requires a whole reel.
That's why we also offer our geotextiles meter by meter to.
This is how DIY enthusiasts and professionals can:
Order exactly the required quantity
Save material
work more economically
For DIY enthusiasts and professionals
Our products are selected to ensure that they:
Controlled and safe processing are
meet the requirements of professional applications
Tested according to relevant standards are
This makes them suitable for both ambitious DIY enthusiasts as well as for Roofing and waterproofing companies, who expect reproducible and long-lasting results.
If you would like to know which roll width or grammage is suitable for your project, you will find specific recommendations from practical experience on the product pages.
