Extra strong reinforcing fleece for long-lasting liquid waterproofing – tested, tear-resistant, durable.
The Polyester fleece 120 g/m² in 25 cm roll width is a high-quality reinforcing and special fleece made of 99 % polyester, developed for demanding sealing work, where greater coverage and additional safety are required.
With a certified Tensile strength of up to 12.6 kN/m (DIN EN ISO 10319 – SGS test report no. QDIN2411002250PL01_EN) this extra strong fleece offers high resistance to mechanical stresses, movements of the substrate and temperature fluctuations.
The microperforated structure Ensures even penetration with sealing materials and optimal adhesion.
Additionally, the fleece sewn with polyester threads, which further increases the tear resistance.
Compared to the 15 cm version, the 25 cm roller width offers a greater coverage on horizontal and vertical surfaces and thus increased safety at transitions and connections.

- Balcony and terrace sealing with liquid plastic
- Sealing of connections to roof structures and penetrations
Instructions for use
- Thoroughly clean the surface and ensure it is dry and load-bearing.
- Place polyester fleece into the fresh sealant and saturate it completely.
- Tracks overlap by 5–10 cm
- Carefully incorporate transitions, corners and connections.
What width is suitable for my project?
-
15 cm roll width – ideal for transitions, internal and external corners, pipe penetrations and precise detail work.
-
25 cm roll width – ideal for larger connections, parapets and transitions with increased safety margin (current selection)
-
35 cm roll width – ideal for roof drains, gullies, fans, aerators and heavily stressed connection areas
-
50 cm roll width – Ideal for full-surface reinforcement of flat roofs, terraces, and usable roof areas. When applied over a large area, cracks, transitions, and detail areas are automatically reinforced.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Why should I choose a roll width of 25 cm instead of 15 cm?
✅ The 25 cm roll width offers greater coverage on horizontal and vertical surfaces, thus providing a higher safety margin at transitions and connections.
Is the fleece compatible with PU and liquid plastics?
✅ Yes, it is compatible with bitumen, PU and liquid plastic systems.
Do I need to cut the fleece?
✅ Yes, it can easily be cut to size with scissors or a cutter.
How wide should the overlap be?
✅ An overlap of 5–10 cm.
Is the fleece UV-resistant?
✅ The fleece is intended for installation under sealing systems and should be covered in case of direct UV exposure.
How long will the polyester fleece last in the waterproofing?
✅ When applied correctly, it significantly extends the lifespan of the sealing system, as it distributes stresses and reduces cracking.
Can polyester fleece be used in sub-zero temperatures?
✅ Yes, the fleece itself can be used without any problems in sub-zero temperatures. It is important that the waterproofing material used (e.g. PU liquid waterproofing or bitumen) is also approved for low temperatures. In combination with frost-resistant materials, the fleece will function reliably even in winter.
How should the polyester fleece be stored?
✅ Store the fleece in a dry place, protected from direct sunlight and UV light. A covered, well-ventilated room is ideal. This will ensure the roll retains its shape and remains easy to work with.
✅ The 25 cm roller width offers additional safety reserves at connection and transition areas.
It is ideal for parapets, wall connections and detail zones where greater coverage and increased load-bearing capacity are required.
This width combines precise work with greater stability and error tolerance.
Suitable for ambitious DIY enthusiasts as well as for professional use in demanding detail sealing applications.
